It has long been established that Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) cause many types of damage to biomolecules and cellular structures, that, in turn result in the development of a variety of pathologic states such as diabetes, cancer and aging. Reduced water is defined as anti-oxidative water produced by reduction of water. Electrolyzed reduced water (ERW) has been demonstrated to be hydrogen-rich water and can scavenge ROS in vitro (Shirahata et al., 1997). The reduction of proton in water to active hydrogen (atomic hydrogen, hydrogen radical) that can scavenge ROS is very easily caused by a weak current, compared to oxidation of hydroxyl ion to oxygen molecule. Activation of water by magnetic field, collision, minerals etc. will also produce reduced water containing active hydrogen and/or hydrogen molecule. Several natural waters such as Hita Tenryosui water drawn from deep underground in Hita city in Japan, Nordenau water in Germany and Tlacote water in Mexico are known to alleviate various diseases. We have developed a sensitive method by which we can detect active hydrogen existing in reduced water, and have demonstrated that not only ERW but also natural reduced waters described above contain active hydrogen and scavenge ROS in cultured cells.

Cancer cells are generally exposed to high oxidative stress. Reduced water cause impaired tumor phenotypes of human cancer cells, such as reduced growth rate, morphological changes, reduced colony formation ability in soft agar, passage number-dependent telomere shortening, reduced binding abilities of telomere binding proteins and suppressed metastasis. Reduced water suppressed the growth of cancer cells transplanted into mice, demonstrating their anti-cancer effects in vivo.

ROS is known to cause reduction of glucose uptake by inhibiting the insulin-signaling pathway in cultured cells. Reduced water scavenged intracellular ROS and stimulated glucose uptake in the presence or absence of insulin in both rat L6 skeletal muscle cells and mouse 3T3/L1 adipocytes. This insulin-like activity of reduced water was inhibited by wortmannin that is specific inhibitor of PI-3 kinase, a key molecule in insulin signaling pathways. Reduced water protected insulin-responsive cells from sugar toxicity and improved the damaged sugar tolerance of type 2 diabetes model mice, suggesting that reduced water may improve insulin-independent diabetes mellitus.

Reduced water will be applicable to not only medicine but also food industries, agriculture, and manufacturing industries.

What happens when the light is turned on in a dark room? The darkness flees instantaneously. So we simply turn the light on in the dark cell to create an environment in which disease simply cannot exist. And not only cancer but the result of lighting up the cellular will create an environment of protection from disease as well as greatly stopping the aging process.
So how do we turn on the light in a dark cell? It is so simple it escapes us and if it weren’t so simple, I would not hold the US medical industry liable for the deaths of thousands of US citizens each year by not following these simple principles in practice. A doctor should first check the pH of the patient. This
is the #1 indicator of good health. Unfortunately the US medical industry and its medical protocols are controlled by suppressive drug therapy and every kind of costly treatment possible. In short, no one can make very much money doing what truly works. Here is the process that must be kept in mind at all times. We light up the cellular as follows:
Hydration → Detoxification → Oxygenation → Nutrientation
Alkaline ionized water (pH 9-10) has the hydration value necessary for effective cellular hydration, detoxification and oxygenation (see Background below and this entire blogsite).
Note: If you are currently drinking distilled, reverse osmosis or purified water from your home system or from a bottle, please stop now! Reverse osmosis and distilled water is good for external use, but is highly acidic in the body. See Background below and the rest of this blog for more information.
Nutrientation is achieved with as much alkalizing,
raw (uncooked), organic foods and fresh juices as possible, with only a few very special and highly organic whole food supplements. Have at least 1-2 tablespoons of a high quality organic green powder (or equal in capsules).

Foods to reduce or avoid that are more acidic include refined sugar, caffeine, saturated animal fats, processed foods, carbonated beverages, peanuts, pasta, white rice and more (please subscribe for our complementary "Alkaline-Acid Food and Beverage Chart" see above). The degree or level of overall immune system protection, weight loss, athletic performance and especially anti-aging is a direct function of the amount of raw, organic, and alkalizing daily intake. Daily juicing with fresh organic vegetables and fruit is a must. Many have not juiced or have stopped juicing due to expense and difficulty cleaning up the machine after juicing. Solution: buy a juicer at Wal-Mart for $30. Use the #4 acid water from the
Athena to rinse the juicer before and after juicing. This will keep the juicer fresh for 2-3 days so cleaning is only needed every 3 days or so. See the chart for the best things to juice. If on a budget, just buy what you can in your grocery store's organic section. As little as it may be, most carry organic
carotts, celery, cucumbers, beets, ginger and garlic. These are among the highest alkaline vegetables and ideal for juicing.
Here is the simple yet powerful diet. Generally unhealthy dieter with diagnosed cancer or major disease. The following should be followed with no exceptions. NO sugar not even fruit sugar for now exception: organic carotts and carott juice. NO dairy
NO meat not even fish-it's not forever. Alternative; organic avocados. NO cooking. All intake must not be heated above 104F (tea 150F). The urine pH should be checked 3 times a day using pH strips. The pH must be maintained between pH 7-8 (dark green to blue). All acid forming and unnatural chemical substances must be removed from the body including surface body care products. Freshly juiced ORGANIC vegetables only (no fruit for now). High alkaline ionized water (pH 9-10, -500 to -800 ORP). Raw organic brown rice, hemp or bean protein may be added. Visualization for cancer (belief and confidence enhancement). The mind is very powerful and plays an important role in the healing process. This is why a doctor should NEVER give a person a terminal diagnosis! Nothing kills hope and this process more than a "six months to live" prognosis! They have been dead wrong thousands of times. Rather, the person must understand and believe that the disease can be eliminated. We would laugh in the doctor's face if such a prognosis were give to us. The exercise is that of visualizing each cell lighting up and knowing that the cancer is leaving the body. Now imagine hundreds and thousands and millions of cells at a time all lighting up and knowing the cancer is gone. This mental exercise and more important, belief, is the most powerful as the body takes in high pH alkalizing nutrients, high pH ionized water and special nutrients that will light up the cellular and balance body cellular pH, literally making it impossible for these certain diseases to exist in the body. In severe cases, the subject should be taken to a peaceful environment and surrounded with people they love with joy and laughter as they visualize the cancer leaving their body, lighting up the cellular with fresh non-reactive oxygen, organic whole food nutrients and alkaline ionized water. As each cell lights up, toxins and cancer is gone and the cell is in perfect health. This process will take 30-60 days if performed properly.
